Giles Goddard is renowned for previously working with Nintendo on games such as 1080­­° Snowboarding, Super Mario 64, Doshin the Giant, Star Fox and Stunt Race FX. After leaving Nintendo he formed a team in Japan called Vitei, which created Theta on DS late last year for Nintendo. Following this the team started working on a WiiWare project that uses the Balance Board and Nintendo will publish it in September in Japan.

Speaking with Cubed³'s Adam Riley recently about Theta, his team's exclusive Nintendo DS title from late last year, Goddard mentioned that after Vitei completed work on the innovative water-themed puzzle game (that has unfortunately not been released in the West) development of a WiiWare game that makes use of the Balance Board began.

Whilst no actual in-game details can be revealed until Nintendo says so, it has been confirmed that it is indeed being published on the download service by the Kyoto Company, will be hitting Japan around September time and makes great use of the peripheral that has become so popular thanks to astronomical sales of the Wii Fit package.
