Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time

The Wii is well-known for it's casual games and with the console's big-hitters out of the way (Brawl, Galaxy, Zelda, etc.) fans have now been wondering what Nintendo has up their sleeve for the core gamers. Well it looks like E3 will answer those questions with Marc Franklin, director of public relations at Nintendo, revealing that Nintendo (and it's third-party developers) will be announcing a handful of games that will appeal to their core gamers.
"We recently announced the upcoming release of Mario Super Sluggers," said Marc Franklin, director of public relations at Nintendo, when asked by GamePro on Friday which upcoming Wii titles core gamers should be excited for. "Additionally, we will be announcing several new titles that core gamers will be interested in around the time of E3."
Franklin's remarks come amid growing concern by some gamers that Nintendo mostly focuses on casual games at the expense of fewer traditional ones.
What's more, he suggests outside publishers have already begun to roll out a maximum number of Wii titles intended for the dedicated gamer. "Look at the plans being made by third-party publishers," Franklin says. "They realize that Wii is the current platform of choice in this generation, and their bottom lines depend on appealing to the largest base."
