E3 is just around the corner and we only know a select few companies and games that will be showing up. With such little information on this year's E3 here are our predictions and wishlist:
Nintendo: For months rumors of a new Zelda or Mario game have been flying around the internet ever since Miyamoto hinted that the Wii would be getting two big Zelda and Mario titles. Super Mario Galaxy was released at the end of last year so its more likely we will see a Zelda game from the Big N. We won't hold our breaths on either being announced but that won't stop us from wishing for it.
If that doesn't happen, we will look out for the announcement of a new Kid Icarus or Animal Crossing.
Square Enix: Their biggest feature will undoubtedly be Final Fantasy XIII and Tetsuya Nomura's brain child Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Fans have been begging for new information for months and even though Square have denied the possibility of playable demos, we suspect a new trailer featuring the mysterious pigtailed summoner in action won't be out of the question.
Tecmo: Itagaki's departure from Tecmo may have thrown a spanner in the works for the company's E3 plans. It was recently speculated that Dead or Alive 5 would officially be announced but with Team Ninja in disarray there is a slim-to-none chance of that happening now. It looks like E3 will draw focus to Tecmo's next biggest franchise, Fatal Frame: Mask Of The Lunar Eclipse. The little horror is up against the likes of Resident Evil 5 and Silent Hill: Homecoming so Tecmo will need to draw out the big guns to capture media attention. We expect a gameplay trailer showcasing Fatal Frame's exceptional Wii graphics.
I Hope it turns out to be a major production.
They partnered with gametrailers, but i don't see any of FFXIII..
For Nintendo, I would love to see a new Zelda, and more information on this Kid Icarus game would be nice. I also want to see more on Resident Evil 5, since I've loved what I've seen so far on the game. As for Microsoft.. will they enter the handheld market? Hmm..
But I REALLY would like more info on Suikoden VI dammit >_< Are they even going to make it?
But of course, it is a somewhat sobering to remember this is one guy's prediction as to what E3 will be covering this year >_>
