Zoids Assault Delayed

This action-packed strategy game has been declared delayed today, from August to September 2008, ready to be released on the Xbox 360. This game's Japanese version has been released last October.

Zoids Assault is the localized North American release of Zoids Alternative, which was released in Japan in October 2007. The mech-based strategy title pits the Republic of Helic against the Guylos Empire in all-out war, and players can customize their robotic fighting machines along the way.

It's going to be a long, hot summer for fans of Atlus games. The publisher will release another localized version of a Japanese turn-based strategy game, Operation Darkness, on June 23. And on July 29, the company plans to release the RPG Spectral Force 3.

    But since this seems to take place during the Chaotic Century anime, I don't think we're going to see the Geno Breaker.

      I don't think it falls into any of the Anime classes. Looking at the screenshots showing a few of the characters, they all look brand-new.

HOLY SHIT A ZOIDS IN NORTH AMERICA I THINK I JUST CAME

I loved Zoids as a kid. Watching those anime series after elementary school was one of the best parts of my childhood. I definitely have to pick this game up when it comes out.
