UK supermarket outlet Asda has informed CVG mums at one of their stores have "gone stir crazy" for a DS cooking game, which it sells.

Upon doing some research, I was unable to find out which title it is exactly; though in the photo the title appears to be 'Cooking Guide', this does not match photos online of the box cover. Anyway, the title contains over 250 menu ideas, and includes ingredient lists and step-by-step instructions on how to make them.

The supermarket has sold 10,000 copies in the first hour and has seen an increase of up to 75 percent on sales related to the recipes featured in the game.

"This game is going to cook up a real storm with our customers, especially mums who need some new menu ideas," said a spokesman for the baker.

You can see the 'storm' in action if you take a look at the accompanying photos. Those women look so pumped we reckon they're looting the store about now in an Ikea-like frenzy. Look out Tesco...

Heh, maybe now I can talk my mum into a DS.
For the sake of her getting this game.
Even though it really isn't a game.

Nintendo have always attempted to appeal to EVERYONE not just kids and gamers. That's why they have the Touch! Generations and these adverts with the whole family playing the DS or Wii

Gawd, what has nintendo come too. I mean, really this is a good idea to get moms to play, but it will also be bad. it will distract them from there everyday lives.
