Activision confirmed in a press release that the PC, 360, and PS3 versions of Call of Duty: World at War will feature four player co-op, as well as two player split-screen co-op. The Wii version of the game will have its own special two player co-op mode.

Activision has confirmed the newest instalment in the Call of Duty series will feature an online co-op mode for up to four players.

That goes for the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC versions, which will also offer two-player split-screen co-op. The Wii game will have its own "unique" two-player co-op mode.

According to the press release, the co-op campaign "allows players to rank up and unlock perks in competitive multiplayer by completing challenges and earning experience points".

Does that mean the Wii version won't have online co-op? Maybe I'm reading wrong...

Your probably reading right. Lack of a headset makes online Co-op play for FPS difficult on Wii. Wii will probably feature some kind of split screen, or else a lightgun mode.

Co-op in Call of Duty will make Veteran sooo much easier for people. If respawns are like Halo, where you can keep respawning as long as one person is still alive, people will just keep running at Japanese soldiers until they die and come back.

Veteran wasn't too difficult to begin with. Perhaps this means it'll be more difficult.

A pretty good feature, I wont buy this game unless people say its very good, WWII is just too common.

As long as it has Wi-Fi somewhere I'll buy it.

I was thinking (for the Wii exclusive) maybe some mission based thing (kinda like red steels) using the speaker?
