If you've been keeping up to date with Ghostbusters news, then you would know that every actor from the original movie will be reprising their roles for the upcoming game. Yes, everyone, from star Bill Murray to "that dickless guy".
There is only one actor who won't be returning for the game...
Rick Moranis, who played the "Key Master", won't be coming back as he retired from acting back in the 90s.
Despite being asked to come back for the game, he declined.

While the upcoming Ghostbusters game will star many of the real films principal characters including, crucially, all four Ghostbusters, William Peck and the Stay Puft marshmallow man, not everyone thought signing on was a good idea. Sigourney Weaver, for one. And Rick Moranis is another. But why'd Rick say no? Not like he's exactly busy at the moment. Sierra's Ben Borth:

quote
He made so much money off of Honey I Shrunk The Kids that he retired. He just doesn't want to work anymore.

Oh. Well. Good for you, Rick Moranis.

That's freaking awesome. I respect a guy who just doesn't care.
I wonder if he has groupies?

kind of a bummer for the other members of the cast. a project like this would definately be a reunion type event for everyone.

Not much of a lost imo, unless they are trying to make the ghostbuster game like the 1st movie.
Which I should hope not, anyone knows if you try to make a game version 100% match of the movie doesn't do well.

Pfffff.. way to fail Rick Moranis. What, you think your too good for a video game? Pfff. What's the last thing he was in? (consults imdb) Voice work for Brother Bear 2 and Miss Spiders Sunny Patch Kids (??) in 2003. Oh man.

    Oh well.

Maybe they offered him a completely ridiculously low amount for the voice work.

He retired a long time ago and is happy enough with the money he's already got. And he fails for that? Pfft.
