GameDaily describes a "Summer Fling" as a video game that will keep you occupied for a few days and after that, you won't want anything to do with it. GameDaily gives you nine games that might do just that. Games on the list include Battlefield: Bad Company and Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy.
There are two types of video games -- Keepers, games so good you'll keep them for decades, and Flings, games you'll play for a few solid days before trading them for store credit.
These nine games round out our list of the 2008's best summer flings -- if summer camp taught us anything, it's that these hot, sweaty months between spring and fall are the perfect time for more casual relationships.

Guitar Hero will rock
Bad Company has online and ranking up to keep your attention and mercenaries is just generally an open world game with online co-op.
I can see both of them lasting me more than a couple of days.
I'm a bit interested in a few others (namely Dark sector)....Haven't tried the Bourne demo yet....
