Natsume yesterday confirmed that Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon will be released on the Nintendo DS this fall, strangely the same time that the original is being released in Europe.
More information will be announced at E3 next month.
Natsume has today confirmed that it will bring Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon to the Nintendo DS in North America this autumn
the same time that the original is being released in Europe.
Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest moon is set a number of years after the first game, at a time where evil Sechs Empire has been defeated, and the Kingdom of Norad is once again at peace. However, premonitions tell that more danger is on the way soon, and its up to you to find out what this threat entails
by building a farm.
Well, not just building a farm. Youll also have to make friends, complete quests and find yourself a wifey. In an interesting twist, youll play as your character at different stages in their, and their familys life. So youll start off as Kyle, the strange wee farmhand, and eventually take control of his child in a multi-generational progression.
We are thrilled to announce that Rune Factory 2 is on its way to the U.S. The first Rune Factory title was a great success for us and our fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel, said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. The Rune Factory series is a great expansion of the Harvest Moon universe; it takes the addictive Harvest Moon gameplay that fans know and love and combines it with the action and adventure of a fantasy RPG. Rune Factory 2 offers better graphics and even deeper gameplay than the first, along with many innovative new features.
Rune Factory 2 will make its first public outing at the E3 Media and Business summit in Los Angeles next month.
