Electronic Arts has today officially announced the sequel to its Nintendo-exclusive dancefest Boogie, in the form of Boogie Superstar. However, despite earlier reports to the contrary, there is no mention of support for the Wii Balance Board and its weight-sensitive controls.

Electronic Arts has today officially announced Boogie Superstar for the Nintendo Wii, and confirmed that it will arrive in both America and Europe this October. But despite apparent confirmation of Balance Board support last month, there is no mention of it in the developer's latest press release.
