PSN friend list cap raised

It appears that the recent PSN maintenance was not only to prepare for the video download service, but also raised the friend list cap.

Users were previously capped at having 50 friends; The cap is now 100.

We put a question mark at the end of the headline because we're not entirely sure if this is true. We haven't heard anything officially confirmed. The thought nonetheless is intriguing, so we want to see if there is any truth to this.

    Good grief, I just saw two members on Neoseeker talking about this in general conversation. Then I headed over the PSU forum and asked if it was true, and they said yup! Then a few minutes later I see this? Sheesh . . . I thought I was behind or something because some people have known this for a while!

    Excellent news. I had to keep deleting old friends to add new ones because I have 50 friends. This is great news.
