The 'Live' stamp on the newly revealed Infinite Undiscovery boxshot signifies, according to Siliconera (and confirmed by the game's official Japanese site), we'll see downloadable content for it in the future.

Infinite Undiscovery is due out September 2.

Late last Friday, Square Enix revealed the box art for Infinite Undiscovery and in the top right hand corner there is a Live mark. The logo is not an Xbox Live stamp, which means Infinite Undiscovery will not have online play. Square Enix never said it would so there shouldn’t be any disappointment. However, the “Live” logo made me curious. Project Sylpheed, Square Enix’s other Xbox 360 game, has auxiliary content like gamer icons and it doesn’t have a Live logo on it.

My suspicion was Infinite Undiscovery has some kind of downloadable content, which is confirmed by the Japanese Infinite Undiscovery site. Inside the “Spec” tab it says “Xbox Live: DLC.” Downloadable accessories and dungeons like Lost Odyssey? We’ll have to wait until E3 to find out.

Downloadable content for RPGs is always nice. It's a good way to expand the game. I'd like to see DLC with this game.
