I have a confession to make. I almost wet myself with excitement and my heart stopped for a whole minute when I saw the title.

It's for reals, guys. Check the update. This is awesome.

I never really got into CT back then, but this is a good second third chance.

    Same here.

I remember playing it back then, but I never really got into it for some reason. Now I can finally finish this game.

Damn. It's never going to be on the Virtual Console if Square can make more money by selling it on the DS.

    YAY I'M GONNA BE SICK!!!

I love Chrono Trigger! (Despite disliking Final Fantasy, but I do like Earthbound) However this game better feature alot of new content, a remake with touch screen controls won't do it for me...

Are we going to get it, or will it be like the original?

This is better news than any Final Fantasy remake. Sure, it's a port (probably with the added cutscenes), but I'm excited as hell.

Holy crap, this is some GREAT news. I love the Chrono series...but I don't own a DS. Damn you, Square-Enix! Why do you throw the good games out of the PS3?

Just go buy Final Fantasy Chronicles for the PS1. It has FF4 and Chrono Trigger. Cheaper and no waiting.

I would be excited, except I already own 3 copies of CT. 2 SNES and 1 for the PS1. I suppose a portable version wouldn't hurt. But it isn't as if I haven't played the game like 15 times already.

The load times on the PS1 version are horrid.

Not on the PS3. The drive is faster and there is more available RAM.

But short of buying a DS or digging through eBay for a SNES copy the PS1 version is the only other solution.
