Resident Evil 4 Movie In The Works

Don't get too excited by the title. There isn't going a movie about Leon S. Kennedy travelling to Spain to exterminate Plagas.

Instead, director Paul WS Anderson has confirmed that there will be a sequel to the Hollywood movie Resident Evil: Extinction. However, the movie is in only it's early stages and there is currently no news on what the plot will be about.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'd rather watch Capcom's upcoming movie Resident Evil: Degeneration instead. At least it seems to stay true to the games.

Like the undead themselves, modern zombie movies keep coming and coming. Get ready for at least one more, Paul W.S. Anderson told MTV News.

"Resident Evil: Extinction,” the third video-game to big screen adaptation in the popular series will likely not be the last, Anderson said, although talks for a fourth film are still in the very earliest stages of development."

“I love the ‘Resident Evil’ franchise and we always try to make the best possible movie we can. If we could find a good ‘Resident Evil 4’ to make, then we would do it,” he said. “But I wouldn’t just do it for the sake of it, that’s for sure.”

    CGI's a good way to go for game adaptations of films, imo. Degeneration has Claire! <3

    I dunno how this movie series has gone on this long, to be honest..

    By the way, Milla Jovovich is a kickass musician.

    No one wants another high-budgeted suck fest that is the RE movie series.

    I actually liked the first one, but it was pretty much downhill from there. I'd rather they don't completely destroy the series and just put everything into Degeneration. It seems pretty amazing from the trailer.

    I found out the movie "extinction" to be the best....

    I'm looking forward to see the movie...And I love Milla Jovovich....she is such a kick-ass

    No matter how much I complain, movies based on games will still get released. Hopefully it it turns out better than *add game movie here*. I figure it can't possibly be worse than *add another game movie here*.
