New MGO game mode online

As mentioned in my article yesterday Metal Gear Online now has a new game mode and new rules after the recent maintenance. The new game mode taking its inspiration from the Sneaking game mode features two teams battling it out, one team trying to steal one of two objects, the other team trying to defend them. But there's a catch, the attacking team has stealth camouflage but is limited to non lethal weapons while the attacking team can use whatever they please

inspiration from the existing “Sneaking Mode”, which sees Snake use Octocamo to collect Dog-Tags from warring teams, this mode is a battle of two teams with different gear.

The mode consists of a Sneaking Team and a “Normal” Team going head to head. Like Snake, the Sneaking Team is stealth-equipped (thus virtually invisible) and to win must either eliminate all enemies or return KEROTAN or GA-KO to their goal. The defending team must defeat the sneaking team or keep KEROTAN or GA-KO safe to win.

The defenders needn’t be overwhelmed, since if they spot one of the sneakers the whole sneaking team will be visible for 5 seconds. Moreover, the sneakers will only be able to equip non-lethal weapons, as opposed to the defenders who can use all weapons.

Awesome! That sounds brilliant. The Sneaking Mission is pretty fun if you're Snake, but other than that is a bit of a standard Team Deathmatch. This game mode sounds like it's gonna give everybody in the team a stealth role.

ya i always hated sneaking cuz ive played it a million times and have only been snake once and mk. II once. so atleast the whole team can go stealth now.

It's okay if your team's good, but when they suck, your camo goes off and your basicly standing there like a jackass with your knife and tranq pistol.

this new mode is really fun, been playing it all day

a tip, dont think that your completly invisible with stealth, the ENVG can still see you and you weapons are visible, its pretty easy to spot them bobbing up and down

Yeah it is pretty much keep your finger ready on L2 to spring the cardboard box if somerather dull teammate thinks it's TDM.
