We're aware that Animal Crossing for the Wii has been in development. However, it is rumored that the very first look we'll get at the game will be shown at E3.

We all know that Animal Crossing Wii has been in development for quite some time now. However, no real news has surfaced regarding the titles inevitable release. Not only has no release date been set, but details on the game have been few and far between. Rumors have been fluctuating that Animal Crossing will be shown at this years E3 in just a few weeks, yet there has been little concrete evidence to support the idea. Thanks to the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine, some light has been shed on the subject.

In the forthcoming issue an E3 promotional section has been included leaving very strong hints that the game will indeed be at E3. An Animal Crossing picture is shown in the section with a caption that reads "It's been a while! It's time to revisit an old friend. How's your village doing these days?" With a hint so blatantly obvious, it's fairly safe to say this is a confirmation of Animal Crossing's E3 appearance.

If this game is an MMO, I'm buying the GameCube version.

AC's online word is by far the girliest thing ever. The original point was to trade items and stuff, but with hackers destrying that, people use it for a chat room or to host those "sleepover" things (where you leave your DS on all night with other people at your town doing the same thing).
