Final Fantasy VII: one word reviews

Folks over at Gamernode have the wonderful idea of allowing readers to sum up their opinion on popular games with a single world. This week they've picked Final Fantasy VII, and below you can see what some readers decided on for their succinct reviews.

Me, I'd choose "pioneering", or maybe "significant." Sure, it hasn't aged as well as some others in the series, but it surely helped set the groundwork for a zillion other games since.

    lol, androgynous. I just realized that, but for Sony Age FF games FF7 has the least Androgynous Male Characters compared to well, all FF Games as of late.

    I like this one. The guy isn't letting recent times (and opinions) get in his way of "reviewing" the game. He actually bothered to remember what the game used to be and what a big impact it had on the gaming industry at the time.

        Maybe its the fact they're too lazy to type an actual review and it would just sound boring hearing their complaints, that they feel one word replies sum up their point.

    A picture says 1,000 words. One friggin' word isn't telling us anything, tbh. Worst reviews ever. If they end a review with one word as a summary, I'd understand, but this is pathetic. No reasons, no nothing.

    I'm not saying this to back up FFVII. Fan of it, sure, but in general, one-word reviewers need to be kicked.

    My OWR for FFVII would have to be....."nostalgic". That's kind of how I think of it now, anyway.

    But, I agree, Storm. One Word Reviews are completely pointless.

      That word has been used too many times for games like this. We need a new creative one.
