Survey: 2/3 of parents think Educational Games are helpful

ConsumerQuest revealed the results of a survey that revealed 66% of parents think educational games are helpful. The results also showed that almost three-fourths of parents are fine with their kids playing educational games on the TV, as well as learning from games instead of books.
ConsumerQuest announced today the results of a survey, which showed in part that 66 percent of parents of three- to 11-year-olds believed that playing with educational video games gives their child an educational advantage. Done on behalf of LeapFrog Enterprises, the survey also showed that nearly three-fourths of all parents polled are comfortable with educational toys that use games played on the TV and that parents are equally at ease with their three- to five-year-olds learning from video games as they are learning from books.
