Asda Story's closed beta begins July 15

Developer GamesCampus.com's free fantasy-style anime 3D MMORPG is set for its closed beta this week, and gamers are invited to sign up and try it out. Starting July 15, the beta will be available for one week only, and those up for it can sign up now on the official site (see alt source).

Asda Story is expected to launch fully this fall in the U.S. See the related article below for details on the gameplay and unique features. As well, there's a trailer of sorts included in the quote.


"We are very pleased to release this captivating game to our players for closed beta testing," said David Chang, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Gamescampus.com. "Asda Story has long been anticipated and we are proud to enter this new phase in development prior to the official launch in the U.S. market this fall.

We will continue to adjust and fine tune the game based on the feedback we receive during the closed beta test in order to ensure that our players have an excellent game experience."

    Sounds like a direct ripoff of MapleStory, tbh. Asda Story? Weird hairdos? Magic? Really unusual creatures to kill? Meh.

    Come to think of it, it sounds like any other RPG.

      Haha, I was about to say the same thing.
      But its free, and its online, and from what I've seen & heard of other free MMORPGs..not all that great. So I'm hoping this one will be an exception.
