Official Fire Emblem DS Website Opens

The official site for Fire Emblem DS has emerged with tons of stuff for you to look at. There are some videos and Masamune Shirowa has done character illustrations. Shirowa is manga artist and has done manga for tons of video games.

The official site has opened.

This beginner's guide to FE contains a few videos of the game, but you have to wait for the videos to load while it's showing the DS. There are two long videos, in section 1 and section 3. Looks smooth, but I still think the pre-rendered look loses a lot of detail and I'm not really happy with it.

The FE site also has another update: Masamune Shirow did brand new character illustrations for the characters based on the worldview of FE. Unfortunately it also states that the character illustrations in the actual game are no the ones shown, which explains the lame pre-rendered look. Oh well!

  It's a remake of the first game if I recall, it stars none other than Marth. Marth ftw.
