Two Classic Characters Return For Resident Evil 5's Mercenaries Reunion
15 hours 48 mins ago
Nostradamus: The Last Prophecy was released on the PC late last year, and DS owners are due for a port later this year or early next.
The gameplay and story are based on astrological quests and historically accurate prophecies of Nostradamus; gamers are given the chance to 'defeat' his last prophecy and change the course of history.
Included are some screens of the PC version for your perusal.
Nostradamus: The Last Prophecy takes players all the way back to the 16th century and tasks them with a very important message: to help save the life of Catherine de Médicis, who falls victim to a terrible curse. The first person contacted and asked for help is Nostradamus himself (or Michel de Notre-Dame, as he is known in history) but the man is too old and weak to embark on such an important quest, so he sends his daughter instead. However, since back in the 16th century women were not accepted as healers, your first quest will be to disguise Nostradamus' daughter, Madeleine, as her younger brother, Cesar (and it will be a really tough job, I can guarantee you that!)
You will have to investigate and solve numerous murder cases either by playing the role of Madeleine or her younger brother in an easy to control player-swap method. And, 100% guaranteed, you will keep trying to solve the exciting puzzles until your brain needs a break - it's a very difficult game, but the joy of finishing it will be immense. You'll have to wait just a bit more before experiencing it on the Nintendo DS, since it will only be launched during the first quarter of 2009.
