Mega Man 9 coming to PS3 and 360

Mega Man 9 the downloadable title appearing on the Wii will also make it to the 360 and PS3 according to IGN. Appearing on the MarketPlace and the PSN Store this game has been a heralded return to form for Sega and you can judge for yourself with a brand new trailer just released.



Additionally, we've got some news to report. First, Capcom has confirmed to IGN that Mega Man 1 and 2 will be coming to the Virtual Console soon. And second, Mega Man 9 will also release for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network respectively. No, it's not a WiiWare exclusive, but nevertheless, it's going to make an excellent addition to the libraries of all three consoles.

        for realz. i'm SOOOOO looking forward to this. i love the hell out of all the original NES megaman games. here's to hoping the bosses are cheesy as *bleep*.

    Never played any megaman games . . . well now I'll have the chance!

    Question though . . . Mega Man 9 . . . is that an old game or are they just making a new one (with the old time graphics) for this? I'm getting mixed feelings/info on that. . .

      I'm not 100% positive. But I think megaman ended with eight. Before becoming megaman x. It's a brand new game set in an old setting.

      This is a brand new game with old graphics.
      there was:
      Mega Man 1-8
      Mega Man X 1-8 (same type of game just further in the history of the world)
      then some other cammand misson games some of the crappy battle networks and stuff.

      and megaman 9 i can not wait i have always loved the blue bomber.
