Grand Theft Auto Heads for DS

After boasting of product sales at E3 this year, Nintendo unveils Grand Theft Auto: China Town Wars for the DS. I assume it'll focus on the Yakuzas from GTA3.

Nintendo revealed that the DS would be recieving a brand-new Grand Theft Auto title later this fall. Welcome, Grand Theft Auto China Town Wars. The game will take place in modern day Liberty City and will feature a newly developed engine.

We'll have more on this portable gang war title shortly.

    While I am looking forward to this, I feel disappointed only by the fact that this was the biggest thing so far I've seen at E3. Oh well. Wonder when we'll start getting screens and vids of this.

    That's kind of cool. Still wish they'd bring something like GTA IV to the Wii, though.

    Wow, I am litterally stoked about this news, as I ALWAYS wanted my own GTA game to hog from my friends when they come over. Really, ever since "Vice City" I've always wanted a GTA game but never had the right console. So yay to GTA! =D

    Unfortunately this will not be even near as good as the PSP titles, and if it uses the overhead view again, it will be one worthless game. Then again, it would be pretty difficult to put together a 3rd person game (especially GTA) on the Nintendo DS. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
