We've known for some time that Movies will be coming to the Playstation Store sometime soon... well at the Sony Press Conference they have revealed that the content will be released not next week, or in a few months... but today.

The fact that you can own them is something cool.
I think the price for each thing (TV and movie rentals) are about $1 more than the 360's prices? Could be wrong about that, I can't remember how much TV show rentals cost on the 360....
With universal and other companies already putting there movies on XBL video service, Microsoft could easily throw some cash around.
The PS3 has a subtitle option for videos, after all...
