Yep its happening, while I personally think the Halo franchise should stop after Halo Wars it appears money speaks otherwise to Microsoft. Microsofts head of Xbox business Don Mattrick confirmed it in a interview with MTV today and as such should be considered official. So get ready to finish the fight...again.
Heres something to add to all the E3 drama this week about Bungie Studios canceled/postponed/hyped debut of a new game
In an interview shot for MTV News on Tuesday, Microsofts head of Xbox business Don Mattrick, confirmed to me that Bungie is indeed working on a new Halo game of some sort for Microsoft.
I had been asking Mattrick about the lack of Halo news at E3. He said that Microsofts Monday press conference was already loaded with content and so any announcements for that series werent needed to get gamers excited.

Well I wouldn't have doubted it from the start, after all Bungie does love Halo and much as MS.
Wonder how the game will play or add.
I wonder what you'd be saying if it had 13 main games like Final Fantasy or Zelda.
...Oh and many believe the Zelda series do have a connecting storyline. GT's take on it.
Also I was talking about Zelda and Final Fantasy games being different. I one of those who don't believe they have a connecting storyline.
