During the Nintendo's Developer Roundtable, GAFfer and video game journalist Chris Remo asked Shigeru Miyamoto and Katsuya Eguchi about core gamers and whether a Pikmin game was in development.

The response:

"We're making Pikmin"

    That's great! I love Pikmin, and it's good that they're bringing it back. We need more unique first party titles.

    Pikmin DS, Pikmin Wii or a Wiiware Pikmin sim, he didn't specify which but any should should make fans happy, unless they don't have a DS or can't get online.
