DC Universe Online, a MMO game with a bunch of different heroes and villains, was shown at the E3 2008 Sony Press Conference by Jim Lee, who publishes and creates comic books. You will be able to play as any hero or villain, saving the world or causing a lot of trouble in it. Chris Cao, who is the Creative Director for Sony Online Entertainment, told TGR that there will be a playable demo at the Comic Con. The demo will have Superman fighting one of his many foes, Kryptonian A.I. Brainiac. The game is coming out for the PS3 and PC only.
This week, we released the story to you regular TGR visitors that a new comic-themed MMO, titled DC Universe Online, was showcased at Sony’s press conference by one Jim Lee, better known as the man behind such well-known comic series such as "Batman: Hush" and "Superman: For Tomorrow," after a rousing series of one-handed pushups on stage. The game, for those who haven’t seen the original TGR piece yet, will give MMO and comic book fans alike the chance to assume the roles of their favorite comic book superheroes, super heroines, and super villains, in a variety of scenarios such as stopping a breakout at Arkham Asylum or leading a raid on the Batcave to take down the Dark Knight in his lair.
