End of the world conspiracy theorists must be having a field day. Often the butt of music industry jokes, Guns N' Roses oft-delayed, 13-year-in-the-making album Chinese Democracy seems to be on the brink of release, with leaks appearing everywhere and the band gaining a new management team.
Harmoix, the makers of Rock Band 2, revealed that an as-of-yet unheard new Guns N' Roses track from Chinese Democracy, entitled Shackler's Revenge, will be making it's debut in Rock Band 2. The news has since been confirmed on Guns N' Roses official website. So, is the most expensive, infamous album of all-time going to make it's debut...in a video-game? Only time will tell. And by the way, look out your window sometime soon, because you might just see pigs flying.

Get ready for "Shackler's Revenge." The track from the upcoming Guns N' Roses album Chinese Democracy will appear on the video game Rock Band 2, slated for release for the Xbox 360 platform in September.

The news was announced Monday morning by Harmonix president and CEO Alex Rigopulos at Microsoft’s press conference at E3 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition to "Shackler’s Revenge," Rock Band 2 will feature songs by Bob Dylan, Metallica, Pearl Jam and the Grateful Dead among the 80-plus songs on the playlist.
