Bioware's CEO John Riccitiello confirmed that the company's new MMO will be tied to KOTOR, and that they will be working closely with Lucasfilms. However, it appears that this isn't Knights of the Old Republic 3, and that will be a seperate game.

Following months of intense rumour and speculation, EA CEO John Riccitiello has confirmed that the Bioware MMO is tied to Knights of the Old Republic and hinted towards a stronger involvement with Lucasfilm.

When pressed for clarification as to whether this referred to a Knights of the Old Republic MMO, Riccitiello answered, "Yes."

Good? Bad? I don't know. I've always thought of Kotor as an amazing single player RPG expereince and I never really wanted it to take a MMO turn.

I'll still try it. I love Kotor too much not to. I just wasn't looking forward to an MMO.

Whatever, at least BioWare has a new Jade Empire on the way. Supposedly.

By the way, any way this can be tied to the 360 forum? I know it's probably just a PC game, but a lot of Xbox owners are hardcore Kotor fans that were expecting a 360 release.
