Ninja Gaiden fans naturally fell into a pit of despair on hearing the news of creator Itagaki-san's falling out with parent company Tecmo, but it ain't over til it's over (one would think): a ton of DLC is up for grabs now in the Marketplace for Ninja Gaiden II. For 800 points you get 25 new missions, Karma Attack missions, Survival missions, and 30 secret-revealing videos.

Mission Mode, the big one, includes 25 self-contained survival stages that feature trials not found in the normal single-player story.

Karma Attack missions challenge you to obtain the highest score, while Survival missions dish out a single weapon and then throw enemies at you until you kick the ninja bucket. Sounds decent enough to grab our attention, but a co-op patch would be lovely...

While we're at it, 30 free videos (in three convenient packs) reveal the locations of the hidden in-game skulls, and are up on Marketplace now. Have a look, you dirty cheaters.
