A few months ago the Paramount movie studio announced that they wanted to get into the gaming industry. So what will their first game titles be? Mean Girls, Pretty in Pink and Clueless. Which brings up the question: How on earth can a game be made out of these movies?

Today we have details on Paramount's first three games: Clueless, Mean Girls, and Pretty in Pink. Probably not the most obvious videogames that ever popped into your head, but in the world of casual titles, they make a lot of sense. Personally, I'm hoping to get the chance to play as Ducky. That poor guy deserves to finally kick some ass.

Hey, you can't talk smack about Clueless! That was actually a half decent attempt at modernizing Jane Austen's Emma. Well, maybe because my friend forced me to watch it with her.

But I really don't get how you can make a video game out of it. Possibly a detective type game, perhaps?

I think the better question is: why would you want to make a game based on these?

I'm guessing that after seeing the DS' success of reaching casual gamers, they're hoping that these games might appeal to female gamers. Just a hunch.

srsly, wtf? I hated pretty in pink. I could barely tolerate Clueless (Stacy Dash kept me hooked like a Bass), but I actually liked Mean Girls. Tina Fey knows about lulz.

But, even thinking about turning these teeny bopper movies into games is epic fail, tbh.

Wow. Why anyone would even consider playing these types of games is beyond me. Hence "Build A Bear Workshop" The Game for the Wii.

After attending Ubisoft's press conference, I've come to terms with the fact that teenage girls just want this stuff. I'm praying most of them grow out of this phase rather than let this sort of drivel brainwash them for life as functioning women.
