A new studio created by former EA members is called Jet Black. They are mainly focused on Wii and DS games, but we are soon expecting some sort of game for XBOX Live in the near future.

Do you think this new company will be promising?

Former games industry veterans from Electronic Arts Canada have set up a new development studio called Jet Black Games and will concentrate on developing original and licensed intellectual properties for Wii and DS.

Roger Freddi, co-founder and CEO of Jet Black Games, has previously worked on big EA titles such as the FIFA series and 007: Nightfire. Speaking about the new venture, Freddi revealed: "With the launch of our new studio, we've brought together all the key elements to develop top games: proven experience and talent, the desire to push the creative envelope [and] commitment to making games we ourselves want to play."

I expect a lot more good games to come out for the DS now, like Nightfire.

I'm not getting my hopes up. The DS and Wii are two of my favorite systems, and so I hope they will make some good games. I'm not a huge fan of EA, they're just alright, so that's all I am really expecting from Jet Black. ^-^

I just hope they don't make horrible games like most companies. Other than that, I still have hopes up.
