Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
13 hours 16 mins ago
Since the Playstation Network and Nintendo's Wi-Fi Connection are free services and the Games for Windows Live are now free of charge, it should be only a matter of time before XBox Live follows suit.
Sure the service is good but how long can Microsoft get away with charging? The news that Games for Windows Live - essentially a PC version of Xbox Live - will now be available for free makes it increasingly difficult for Microsoft to justify charging a subscription to Xbox Live.

Also he doesn't sound very game educated as saying that making XBL free could be as vital to MS as Halo 4?? Wtf, there is no halo 4.
I hope they dont make it free for the following reasons:
1. It allows MS to constantly upgrade the service and secure good games for the 360.
2. It would allow a whorde of "GANGSTA" kids onto XBL who previously could not convince there mum to pay for XBL for them.
Rumour's not necessary thanks to the '?'
random guy thinks that:
I'm pretty sure Xbox LIVE is the most active service and it's gotta take a good chunk of money to keep it running as stable as it does.
I'm not too bothered, if the service is free than that's great but £40 for a whole year isn't that much and it's worth the money.
If you have ever come into a game lobby screaming the N-word at the top of your lungs, you play $75 dollars a year for XBL.
every time i went to get a subscription i always think dam i could get a game instead
Please Microsoft, get rid of the fee.
