PSN to SEN: Time to rage quit? - DarkFeed

Chris Satchell, chief technology officer of Microsoft's interactive business stated that The Playstation Network has nothing but only a "handful of titles" to their credit, and that their creativity is running thin. However, when talking about the 360 he states that "very rapidly we will see a huge amount of creativity pouring onto Xbox 360 and Xbox Live."
"With Xbox LIVE Community Games set for release by the end of the year Microsoft will hopefully be delivering on that promise of "a huge amount of creativity pouring onto Xbox 360 and Xbox Live". The company has gone so far as to say, "community-created games on Xbox LIVE are expected to double the size of the Xbox 360 video game library. If that is the case, there must surely be at least a reasonable number of innovative games in the mix."

Its just quality.
What do you excepct him to go "OH TEH PS3 IS BETAR THN THE SHITBOX 360,LOL RROD"
It was just a comment to slander the competition, all companies do it. Its not like its going to effect you anyway so I don't see why you are getting your feathers in a ruffle about it.
Children and their consoles.
But what do you expect someone from M$ to say? As slumpy monkey mentions, he works for the company, it's not like he's going to go against it. It's actually pretty funny to see all these Sony defenders, but save it for the analysts or something.
I will never make the quality over quantity argument though. Quantity does of course mean that statistically you should have more quality titles. But it also means you have to wade through all the muck to get to them.
As for the Sony dis...it's just thrown in there. They're always just taking small shots at each other. Just how Kaz said he'd be shot rather than take an exclusive title from Xbox. Of course he'd take Gears if he could. He just has to act as if Playstation is unstoppable. Same applies here.
Both consoles have questionable content but if i was to go with the one with better content, they are even Sony has fewere but in my opinion better arcade/full retail games and Microsoft has the better added content cause most of it is exclusive to their platform.
Sadly, they all do it at one point or another. Though the guy in charge of the PSN had my kudos because he admitted he liked many of the features of XBL and was working on their own way of doing those features for the PSN.
I like some of the very simple XBLA games like N+ and Alien hominid and so forth. The PSN doesn't have very simple games, but . . . either next-gen mini games, or older classics. They're not working to fill a quota though, so that's fine and good.
But at MS and Sony there like "Lets insult the competition in public and then watch all teh fanboyz fight it out on the net"
In fact I bet their sitting there now eating a pizza and watching us all laughing hardcore.
The amount and type of content don't really matter much; more people will likely be using PSN and Live for online gaming than shopping. If Sony will get itself straightened out and secure some more great exclusive titles that are sure to sell consoles and that have online capabilities, Microsoft will be retracting this statement pretty quickly.
Wish it had more Classics but overall please with it.
Way to state the obvious, Microsoft. They make us pay for our service, so yeah, I would think we get more features. That's not to say PSN and LIVE can't be similar in what they offer, it's just who does a better job... and I should hope it's not the FREE service, because then Gold subscribers like myself will really be asking our money back.
