Igarashi is interested in WiiWare

Tyranitar24 | July 24, 2008 | News | Wii
When fans found out Castlevania Judgment was going the fighter route, a lot of fans were disappointed and let down. The fans want a traditional Castlevania game and have desperately asked Koji Igarashi, the producer of the Castlevania series, to make a traditional Castlevania game for a console. MTV spoke with Igarashi and found out that he is interested in WiiWare and thinks that WiiWare is a strong point for 2D games. Could we be seeing a traditional Castlevania game on WiiWare soon?
Fan reaction to the fighter-influenced “Castlevania Judgment” was mixed, but “Castlevania” fans are still clamoring for Koji Igarashi’s latest 2D adventure on the DS.

“Castlevania” fans have also begged Igarashi for a traditional “Castlevania” title for consoles.

While such a fanboy dream still remains unrealized, Igarashi told me at E3 last week that he’s very interested in Nintendo’s WiiWare service.
