After having a WiiWare week last week, Europe gets its Virtual Console fix this week, with three new games added to Nintendo's retro download service. The games this week provide an arcade-type action feel, with all three games pretty much pick up and play.

The first game is International Karate + for the Commodore 64, a very popular sequel for International Karate. The game pits three different fighters in a free-for-all match; up to two are controlled by human players, with the third always controlled by the computer. The objective is to score 6 points by defeating the other fighters.

The second game is a familiar one for those in the other regions: City Connection for the NES. The goal is to paint all the roads in a particular city white to prove that you have visited the place, while avoiding the police who are trying to stop such vandalism.

The last game is Neo Turf Masters for the Neo Geo. It is a golf game featuring six different players, and three different countries.

Recap:

  • C64: International Karate +, 1-2 Players, 500 Points
  • NES: City Connection, 1-2 Players, 500 Points
  • NEOGEO: Neo Turf Masters, 1-2 Players, 900 Points
