Now that E3 2008 has ended, IGN has unveiled their E3 2008 awards! IGN awarded Mirror's Edge as the best action game and Street Fighter IV as the best fighting game! To check out the rest of the awards, hit the link!

Naturally, given our own obsession with videogaming, we've put together a list of the best games that the invite-only show had to offer so that you, the IGN faithful, know exactly what cool games to look for in the coming months and years ahead. As an added bonus, we've even included specialized platform-specific lists for the PC, PlayStation 3, PSP, Wii, DS and Xbox 360 crowd as a supplement our overall awards. That way everyone, no matter what their console preference, knows what cool games struck our fancy most.

    I honestly doubt SF4 is going to be the best fighting game, in comparison to Tekken 6, SC4, and a bunch of other fighting titles. Sorry I disgree with that. Everything is seems cool.

      You do know that Best of E3 is only given to game that attended... Street Fighter IV was there so it won.

    I disagreed with a lot of that, Prince of Persia and Mirror's edge mainly.

    Still I suppose they've played the games and we haven't so I won't complain

    Wow, not too mainstream as I would have expected, but a fair list. What fighters does SFIV have to go up against at E3?

    Wow. SFIV best fighting game? Oh boy. Being a huge SF fan myself, this and Tekken 6 are two games I won't pass up. =D

    Galaga legends looks kind of cool. I love the neon colors and shit though, that junk is getting me wet.
