Soul Calibur IV and Fatal Frame IV are the Most Pre-Ordered Games in Japan this Week!

Gothic Girl | July 30, 2008 | News | Playstation 3 Wii
Good news for anyone looking out for Soul Calibur IV and Fatal Frame IV. They are both currently the most pre-ordered console games on Amazon.co.jp this week.

It comes as no surprise that Soul Calibur IV would sell well, as the series has a solid fanbase and also recieved quite a lot of hype and press.

But it's a surprising feat for Fatal Frame IV to reach so many sales, considering the low publicity the game recieved and the sudden shift to a different console. It seemed doomed to fail, but thankfully it didn't!

This doesn't guarantee it will sell well, the amount of pre-orders in one country on one site when it mentions no actual figures and when no real hot games are coming out does not mean it is going to fly off the shelves. Though I hope so for Gothic Girl's and Akira Ex's sanity

Yep, PS3 and 360 only. I recall reading an interview with the devs, when somebody asked them about making a Wii version. Their response.. was laughter.
