Holy shit, some very good stuff there. Advent Children Complete is a definite must for me now, nice to know Versus is a confirmed PS3 exclusive as well. And Agito on PSP only heightens my reasons to get a PSP

Great, now lets hope it is more like PE1 and nothing at all like PE2.

I liked PE2 more than PE1, tbh. XD

          You have no taste.

The combat system in PE2 was horrible. It was the only Squaresoft game that I ever took back to the store in less than a week. In fact the only game ever that I have taken back so fast. Even FF12 which I never could get into got to stay.

          GameRankings begs to differ

I don't know why so many people don't like PE2's combat system. Sure, it was different than the first PE game, but the only thing that was really "wrong" with it was that it was almost a direct rip-off of the Resident Evil games. (which was an improvement, imo).

Aiming sucked for one. The camera was god awful. You could never see what you actually needed to shoot. I mean the damn lizards running around in the first level killed me more times than needed just because I couldn't even see them.

They should have stuck with the original combat system rather than trying to make it more of an action game. Can't say anything about the story because I never got more than about an hour into it and decided I just couldn't deal with all the crap any more. I lost all interest in the story because of it.

I can't say I ever had much of a problem with the camera. It was a fixed-camera, iirc? I didn't think it was so bad ... (I'm not sure why it would have caused issues with beating the enemies. Just go to the next screen ) ... It was just another thing that was a little too similar to Resident Evil.

Looks like Square Enix is trying to revive the PSP.

Still would like some more DS+Wii stuff. Oh well; it is Nomura after all.

I'm gonna guess it was the XIII demo with ACC. Or Agito on PSP.

          Cruxis Mana | August 02, 2008
It was the XIII demo with ACC.

It would have shocked if it weren't leaked to the Internet a week or so before hand, but you get the idea.

I kept my expectations low and I enjoyed this much more E3.

With my low expectations, I was still disappointed. Seeing they were showing off a new IP, Sigma Harmonics, I wanted to get some more info on it. But all everyone keeps talking about was ACC, XIII, and PE. I'm starting to wonder if Sigma Harmonics was even there.

That's not a shock at all, and from what I've been reading, the real big announcement hasn't been announced yet.

It may not have been a shock to you, but it wasn't expected either way.

That was just people second guessing themselves.

As for Sigma Harmonics - It's being released on Japan in just a few days time, so I don't think anyone was all too bothered, unfortunately.

Wow, didn't realize the release date was so close. Although it's still weird that I'm finding little to no info on it. It's TWEWY all over again.

And for the record (and I know this is gonna be a pretty stupid question), any word on an American and/or European release date yet?

          Cruxis Mana | August 06, 2008
No word on overseas release dates yet.

Weekly Famitsu gave it 31/40 as well. ( 8/8/7/8 ). In comparison though they gave TWEWY 35/40.

Hmm, I notice in that main picture, they're using symbols from The World Ends With You. Think that means something? Or am I just kidding myself?

EDIT: And where's the coverage on Sigma Harmonics?

Nope, that's definitely TWEWY....here's hoping they announce a sequel by the end of the weekend!

The event is over. The second day will just a repeat of the first.

As for the logo, apparently Neku introduced the event at the beginning of the previews.

The second day will repeat the first? What kind of logic is that?
        • 0 thumbs!
          Cruxis Mana | August 02, 2008
The event itself is only 3 hours long and it is repeated 3 times a day for two days, 400 people at a time.

This was so that they're weren't thousands of people attending the event at any one time.

It's been planned like this from the start.

Are you saying something is wrong with "Goods?"
      • 0 thumbs!
        tallteen86 | August 03, 2008
Yeah, nothing is wrong with 'Goods'. If one could say something is a bit off, it is just that the smaller text saying "Character's Official Goods" would sound a bit betteer as "Character's Official Merchandise". And that could be re-written to sound better, but would require more text, which would just produce needless clutter....

'Goods Shop' is fine as it is.

          Or the fact that the T-Shirt says;

          " I participate in this game ".

          - Should be participated.
