Kingdom Hearts III to be revealed soon?

Someone who works within Square Enix has told GOONL!NE that Kingdom Hearts 3 is going through pre-development and could be revealed as soon as tonight at the DKS3713 Event or later at the Tokyo Game Show.

Please remember that this is just a RUMOR, nothing has been confirmed or denied by Square Enix as of now.

A informer inside Square Enix has told GOONL!NE that Kingdom Hearts III is in pre-development and will be unveiled very soon.

How soon? Hit the jump.

The informer told us that we could see it as early as tonight at the Square Enix DKΣ3713 event or as late as the Tokyo Games Show in early October.

Our insider didnt tell us what platforms the game will be coming out on but it’s pretty much a given that it could be exclusive to PLAYSTATION 3 considering the main series has been on PLAYSTATION since the creation of the series back in 2002 for the PlayStation 2.

Please do note that it is a rumor…and it’s one that should be taken with an extreme pinch of salt but if this is indeed true, the Sony fanboys will totally forgive Square Enix for Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360, should the game be exclusive to the PLAYSTATION 3.

Kinda sucks that it is only in pre-development though. I was hoping it was at least a bit of the way through the initial stages of the actual development cycle (like, rough versions of game environments and events, fleshed out story/characters/etc).....

  _{What the hell are you talking about? This is a new franchise, first game was in 2002, then the CoM was around early 2004 and the actual PS2 sequel came out 2006. I don't know what you're complaining about. Its not like this is FF7 or something. Its just as new as God of War 3, and to be honest both might end up being finished at 3. Stop talking as if this has being going on for years.

    I should guess you didn't include that in the list of ones that 'need to die' because you like it. Well, and this may well be news to you, Mario, Zelda and Metroid are good games that are quite popular. You are worse than those morons who think games series should end after three games because you are being a hypocrite well you are at it.
    
    And, I am going to love doing this, the Metroid Prime series only has 3 games... ! Sorry couldn't resist, to be honest I am hoping for some non FPS 3D Metroids, I will admit I haven't played Corruption but I freaking dream with a third person camera, but that said the Prime series should continue as well because others enjoy it.

      _{lol MusiKon Please its just not your type of game, get over it. I made a point above, which I will say both you and Black Doom, that I didn't list those games due to me hating them. I *bleep*ing grew up with those games from the original NES and SNES, the point is those games has been nothing but Milked FOR 20 *BLEEP*ING YEARS. And Nintendo can't give it up and make new franchises and exciting games. Everything is either a spin off of Mario this and Mario that then more Zelda and Metroid Prime. FF7 while getting milked for 10 years, isn't anywhere near the amount Nintendo is doing with those titles.
      
      Nintendo needs to step their game, stop making so many *bleep*ing marios and shit, and take risks with new games and franchises. Look at Sony and MS, they take the necessary risks in the gaming industry and making new Flagship, Franchises for the consoles, and not going back to those old ones. Thats my problem with Nintendo. But that besides the point, the point is MusiKon made a stupid comment about how he wanted Kingdom Hearts to die was if its been around for ages, yet KH and God of War are two brand NEW franchises that WILL end up being finished at 3.       Also Kingdom Hearts is being milked, KH, CoM, KH2, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, Coded and supposedly the final KH3. The series was fun when it started now that it has started down the normal RPG path it needs to end. Seriously think before you post instead posting the same shit in pretty much every article.

      I agree with Finalblade, Musikon if you think Kingdom Hearts is being milked go have a look at Mario, Final Fantasy or GTA games. Kingdom Hearts is a relavity small franchise in comparison. It will probably end with KH3 so I don't see why everyone is complaining

      No one says Halo is being milked, it only has three games. Many believe it is overhyped but not milked, I don't see a Master Chief appearing in sports titles or appearing in more games than I can poke a stick at

      My issue with KH has nothing to do with the franchise being milked. Yes, both Square and Nintendo have VERY long running franchises. And it would be nice if some of those franchises at least took a rest before releasing more games.
      
      But Kingdom Hearts? That's a whole 'nother ball game. It's right up there with Final Fantasy VII, where its very existence, as well as its fandom and, annoy the living *bleep* out of me. It's hard to take.
      
      And before comments of "just ignore it" or anything similar, I can't because it's friggin everywhere. It's everywhere. FF7 almost made me hate RPGs altogether (but Grandia II gave me a good wake up call to the face), and Kingdom Hearts made me feel like I "had" to play it rather than "wanting" to. And I've never felt that before other than these two "franchises." (the quotes are mainly for FF7, since I'm still confused as to why turn into its own franchise).
