Ten years later, two of the girls who were "spirited away" died, one after another, killed by a horrible figure with a hidden face, who screamed and wailed...

The two girls other than Ruka who remained alive, Misaki and Madoka, headed towards Rougetsu Island in order to unravel the mystery of their friends’ deaths.
And so Ruka followed the two of them to cross over to the island to find out what lay behind her lost memories.

Ruka Minazuki
A girl from Rougetsu Island who plays the piano. Seventeen years old.
She has lost all her memories prior to her mysterious abduction.
When she was playing the melody which was the only thing she could remember, another hazy memory rose to the surface.
What lay behind that scene... about her hometown, and her father, and about her self?
In order to take back what had been stolen from her, she shook off her mother’s attempts to hold her back and headed for Rougetsu Island.

Misaki Asou
A demanding and strong-willed girl. Seventeen years old.
One of the five girls who were spirited away, she is a descendant of Doctor Kunihiko Asou, the man who invented the Camera Obscura.
“Is it returning... Rougetsu Island...”
Guided by the words spoken by the dark figure of a girl reflected in the mirror,
She headed for Rougetsu Island along with Madoka.

Madoka Tsukimori
A timid girl who does as Misaki says. Seventeen years old.
When her friends Tomoe Nanamura and Shinomiya Marie who were rescued from the mysterious disappearance along with her died one after another, she is worried about the change in her friend Misaki.

Choushirou Kirishima
A detective and former policeman.
Back when he was a cop, he was in pursuit of a man named Akira Haibara, the suspect to a string of murders and crossed over to Rougetsu Island. There, he came across the incident of mysterious disappearances, and found the girls.
He had become friends with Sayaka through this incident, and at her request, he headed towards Rougetsu Island in pursuit of Ruka.
