Not sure whether to pre-order Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning? These three bonuses that EA is giving out may change your mind. First of all, you can get access to the beta test, the ability to play a few days earlier before the retail version of the game ships, and bonus items within the game. Age of Reckoning is set to release on September 16th and you can pre-order it on Direct2Drive, IGN's digital download service.
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, EA's upcoming MMORPG, is now available for pre-order on Direct2Drive, IGN's digital download service. While the game itself is set to launch in September, EA is offering a number of bonuses to those who pre-order the game now.
The first and foremost bonus is the ability to get into the beta test to check out the game. In addition, pre-order customers will get a live game head start, which means they can begin adventuring a few days before the retail version ships. Finally, there are the requisite bonus in-game items. First, there's Rittenbach's Portable Camp, described as a way to "rest your wear soul and heal your wounds between battles." Then there's Guardian's Iolite Band, which "increases your chance of doing additional spiritual damage with each hit" in player-versus-environment combat.
