Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

In the recently weeks there has been speculation revolving around Valve's up and coming 360/PC title Left 4 Dead in the view that there was going to be a port version arriving to the Playstation 3 via EA.
However today it seems there has been an announcement from Valve's Doug Lombardi for which has ended all current reports on the idea of there being a Playstation 3 port as he has stated: "There is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead currently in production"!
This Saturday we've reported about the PC/X360 shooter Left 4 Dead possibly winging its way to the PlayStation 3. The scoop, which was actually a blurb in the latest issue of OPM, indicated that Electronic Arts would take on the task of porting the game to Sony's console.
As it turns out, the story was bogus, at least according to Vavle's Doug Lombardi, who made the following statement to clarify things: "There is no PS3 version of Left 4 Dead currently in production." Nicely said.
So, once again, there isn't a PS3 edition of Left 4 Dead in development. Not yet anyway. Still, who knows, eh? Maybe they'll get to work on it someday.

But I'll say it again; what's the huge draw of this game? 4 player co-op? That it? Somehow that snagged it award nominations. I'd like to bet you spend half the time getting t-bagged by your allies...
I probably sound like I'm whining about there not being a PS3 version. But I'm not.
My MSN name at one point was "L4D = hurry the f' up November"
