Its being reported that Square-Enix have not yet begun developing Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360, mainly because their 360 development kits havent arrived yet.
Motomo Toriyama, the games director, said Were making the PS3 version first, and then porting to the 360 later. Im telling [the development team] to not think about the Xbox 360 right now. We can think about it after the development kits arrive. Right now, were fully concentrating on the PS3 version.
Final Fantasy XIII was announced to be coming to the 360 day and date with the PS3 version, as a simultaneous worldwide release, excluding Japan (the 360 version will not be sold in Japan). While it depends on the speed of the porting process, the 360 version could hold back the release of the PS3 version as it sounds like it will be done first on PS3. The 360 version, however, wont influence any content changes for the PS3.
