Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

Even though Call of Duty: World at War isn't out yet, it's sequel has already been confirmed to be released in 2009 by Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick.
Are you ready for more Call of Duty? No, not CoD: World at War, which arrives in October--we're talking about the next sequel, which will arrive sometime in 2009.
The sequel was confirmed by Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick, during an earnings conference call last Friday. He said the series' 2009 sequel will change developer hands from Treyarch to Infinity Ward.
Wired notes that when Infinity Ward renewed its publishing deal with Activision earlier in 2008, rumors hinted it was working on a sci-fi title, as well as an original franchise title. With the 2009 CoD news, it would appear as though the latter has come to pass.

I'm amazed on how fast it takes them to make their games. It was only like yesterday when the first COD came out.
call of duty 6 is already 100% finished. it's been finished since the day call of duty 3 was made.
I thought we all knew by now that the Call of Duty series is coming out on an annual basis with Infinity Ward and Treyarch alternating on titles.
*bleep* treyarch, they love WW2, they need to get their heads out of their asses and get some new ideas.
Still, great to see them getting the games done and released quickly. Doesn't say much about quality though and it could well be delayed.
It's because of all the success, it went up to their heads...
