"Conquest Mode" for Battlefield: BC Coming For Free

Electronic Arts have today announced that the Conquest Mode for Battlefield: Bad Company available for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 will soon be available as a free download for all users on both formats.

Made famous by Battlefield 1942, Conquest mode pits players against each other in a battle to eliminate the opposing team’s tickets. Players deplete their opponent’s tickets by one point per kill and can cause their opponents tickets to spiral downwards by capturing control points. Four maps that are currently available for online play in Gold Rush mode will be available to conquer with Conquest mode.

    I had decided that I would not get Battlefield: Bad Company unitl I could automatically start doing Conquest. Looks like I'll be going to the store soon. I love that gametype.

    Recent news has said this update will happen Thursday at 4am central or 5am eastern. And there's more this update is alot bigger then I would have originally thought.
