After a recent price drop that sent Super Smash Bros. Brawl down from $50 to $40, sales on Amazon rose. Super Smash Bros. Brawl had a 1,200% sales increase earlier today, which bumped it up to second at Amazon's video game department.

Sales for Nintendo Co.'s Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Wii rose on Mon. following a 20 percent price cut at retailer Amazon.com.

By Mon. evening, Smash Bros. Brawl held a sales increase of 1,200 percent to rank at No. 2 at Amazon's Video Games division.

The title, which was released in Mar., is selling for $39.99, down from an MSRP of $49.99.

Brawl is the latest entry in the popular franchise that pits characters from the Nintendo universe into a melee match.

It includes new online multiplayer action via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service. The entry adds a new side-scrolling action game called The Subspace Emissary.

      Haha, agreed. Honestly, if I would be still an active gamer, I would have probably be drooling over this game, having dreams and decreasing my school grades because of it. My Patience wouldn't be able to hold all my wish to get the new game.
      Luckily, not my case.
