You can print out the new cover of Madden NFL 09

Tyranitar24 | August 12, 2008 | News | Playstation 2 Playstation 3 Misc
By now, almost all of you know that Brett Favre is now a New York Jet. All of the Madden NFL 09 covers that were shipped have Favre in a Packers uniform, so EA has given you a way to obtain the cover with Favre in a Jets jersey: All you have to do is print it out.

If you can't print out the new cover, you can head over to Sam's Club. All you have to do is purchase Madden NFL 09 there for $55.55 and they will print out a copy of the new cover for you.

Along with the new cover comes a roster update, which puts Favre on the Jets team.
If you’re a fan of the Madden NFL series, there is a slight chance that you already know about the Brett Favre trade this offseason. Aside from making every self-respecting NFL fan cringe at the sight of Favre in a Jets jersey with a roster update, the folks at EA Sports had to do some damage control with their Madden 09 packaging featuring Favre in his old Packers jersey. Currently, EA has a printable copy of the cover featuring the gunslinger in his new uniform available on their website.

Favre shouldn't even be on the new cover with all the annoyance he's caused.

Well perhaps, but he's still the best QB in the game today, one of the last true great ones. I say he deserves his right to be on it.

Damn why him, he's a hyped Quarterback. And hardly the best anyway.

I love how they had to make the Wii version with a completely different boxart.
