Yu Suzuki is still an employee of Sega

ivy06 | August 13, 2008 | News | Company
Simon Jeffery, President of Sega America, was apparently wrong when he said previously producer and designer Yu Suzuki was "not an employee" of the company. They today confirmed he is still working for Sega, but you can't blame them for forgetting him since he hasn't worked on a game in a while (a couple of projects were canceled; the last games were OutRun 2 in 2003 and the last generation of Virtua Fighter titles).
In the statment made by Sega, Jeffery said:

"I can safely say that Yu Suzuki is in fact still a Sega employee," Jeffery has told Gamasutra in a corrective statement, confirming that Suzuki is currently the Creative Officer of Sega Corp.
