There will be no North American Blu-Ray release of SIREN: Blood Curse

Gothic Girl | August 13, 2008 | News | Playstation 3
It was recently announced that a Blu-Ray version of SIREN: Blood Curse will be released in Europe this Autumn, but according to Sony there are no plans for a North American Blu-Ray release "at this time".

So if you are American, your only option is to download the PS3's latest survival-horror through PSN.

Sony has spoken to MTV Multiplayer, reiterating that there are no plans for a North American release on of Siren in disc form "at this time." The Sony representative reminds us that "you are able to delete and then re-download episodes since the purchase is linked to your PSN account. The developers kept this functionality in mind knowing that the episodes were fairly beefy."

For a second there I was getting angry and annoyed at the prospect of not getting this game on Blu-ray (I don't like downloads, I prefer to have the physical media with me). Fortunately, I'm from Europe, and it's only the US/Canada that aren't getting it.... sucks for them, but from my point of view, I'm getting it so I shan't complain.

As if the installs from the Blu-Rays weren't enough...well then, I won't be downloading this.

I hated the demo of that game. It was too *bleep*ing dark. >__

You say you could hardly see anything because it was too dark. Some times turning the TV's/PC brightness up helps.

So sony's idea of making up for lack of content in the EU is denying other regions of content?

Why not just make everything equal.

Who caresabout USA. Sony's always sitting on USA's dick, why not sit on Europe's dick for once?
